TietoEVRY Digital Consulting Application Performance Management (APM) Service provides customer dedicated application performance monitoring and management services. APM Service supplements TietoEVRY Digital Performance Management (DPM) service. DPM Service combines standardized and centralized application monitoring tool Platform and operations service with the data-analytics capabilities of application performance and customer experience with centralized and standardized tool platforms. APM Service offers customer dedicated and tool independent consultancy service as well as customer dedicated monitoring tool management services. APM Service can be used together with any TietoEVRY or 3rd party hosted target application for advanced performance analytics and consultation functions. APM Service is often used together with DevOps, AIOps, Application Operations, Application Management and/or Quality Assurance services. APM Service Manager is responsible for approving the customer monitoring service handover to production (service transition) and leading the delivery of the customized service cross SA. Service Manager has adequate technical and service management knowledge required to lead and develop the service delivery and its components with E2E responsibility.

APM Implementation phase (10-50% of the workload)

Managing the implementation, configuration and testing of the designed APM solution as a project manager.
Responsible of customer specific APM Solution documentation creation.
APM solution transfer to production
Production phase (at least 50% of the workload)

Ensure the core operation processes in the service scope are functional and the SLA targets are achieved.
Incident Management
Request Fulfilment
Problem Management
Change Management
Configuration Management
Knowledge Management
Capacity management (Licenses, hardware and team resources)
Brings Customer focus to daily operations and acts upon deviations found in service quality and performance.
Acts as Service Level Manager for the service and customers in scope.
Is accountable for maintaining the operational instructions for the service.
Develops the service best practises for example on the following areas:
Customer specific reports, analyses and documentation.
APM related training and coaching sessions or series.
Risk analysis and -investigations related to data security, privacy or in general GDPR topics within APM.
APM integration to DevOps and AIOps ways of working
APM ways of working for Performance Testing support and Agile development projects.

We expect you to have:

  • Good coordination and negotiation skills
  • Good presentation and communications skills
  • Technical background, understanding the technology behind the service
  • Fluent English
  • Earlier experience of Project Management, Quality Assurance, DevOps and/or monitoring technologies is considered a benefit
