Want to find out more about Business Intelligence and the tools available on the Microsoft platform? The lecture will take you through the issues around BI and we’ll also be comparing the traditional approach to that of Self Service. Excel Self Service tools will be presented in practical demonstrations and we will share our reports and analyses in Office 365. We’ll also be defining the scope for Self service tools and telling you when it’s better to apply the traditional solutions, when to choose the Self Service approach, and what are the associated risks. We’ll use practical examples to look at tools from the PowerBI family, such as PowerQuery, PowerPivot, PowerView and PowerMap. A ready-made solution to Office 365 will be applied, followed by a discussion of the issues involved, such as security, automation and the interconnection of data in an organization with a cloud service.
The course is suitable for anyone who has not yet heard of BI, but people already dealing with these issues will also get a lot out of it.
