What technology do we use?
At Tieto we work on projects with a global impact across various fields. From telecommunications to healthcare. This demands the use of a whole range of different technologies and frameworks. To stay ahead, we aren’t afraid to try them out – even the very latest and most cutting-edge.
What’s it like working at Tieto?
In Ostrava, since the end of 2012 we’ve been operating out of the Tieto Towers building, designed by renowned architect Václav Hlaváček. In addition, Tieto has available stylish and informal rooms – you won’t find any boring open plan offices here, and we can offer so many other benefits, too.

Our company was the first ever software centre located outside northern and western Europe, but despite this, management had no problem putting their faith in us. I think they soon realized that they’d made the right decision. We proved that people here really do know how to work well, and also in the company they have been able to rise.
Being a project manager at Customer Experience means leading projects and supporting teams so that they can deliver high quality solutions to our customers. Being able to trust people is crucial to me; personally I do not like a forced, authoritarian approach to managing projects.
There’re a few more of us - nearly two thousand more people - than there were ten years ago. The company has undergone and is still undergoing some development. I personally feel that the last two years have been very positive: we’ve seen enormous progress in making sure that there are more opportunities to participate in the future course of events, and getting involved is simpler, too.
