Major incident manager

About us

As a Major Incident Manager you will be part of the team that is in charge of crisis management in order to restore our customers´ IT services in the shortest time. Furthermore, you will contribute to corrective action and continuous improvement in the overall quality of services provided to Tieto customers.

You be responsible for:

  • crisis management in Tieto IT services and coordination of technical specialists
  • the organization, documentation and recording of the Major Incidents as well as the evaluation and subsequent settings of corrective actions in collaboration with technical specialists
  • operational tasks within the Incident Management (ITIL)
  • following the process of Major Incident Management
  • communication within Major Incident Management
  • work on the improvement of quality of provided services
  • creation and analysis of incident reports

We expect from you:

  • stress resistance
  • experience in managing crisis situations
  • experience in leading a teleconference meeting
  • ability to plan and organize work (prioritization)
  • knowledge of IT processes (ITIL best practises)
  • minimum one year of experience in an IT company
  • good knowledge of IT (applications, servers, network, databases)
  • ability to work in virtual teams across time zones
  • knowledge of English at least on level B2, both spoken and written
  • presentation skills
  • thoroughness, attention to detail
  • willingness to learn new things and improve your professional development
