Professional practice or student internship
We can do both. If you are final year student of bachelor's or master's studies and need help with writing your thesis, let us know.
Internship is for all – students of both, bachelor's and master's studies regardless the grade you are currently in. In this case, the part-time agreement is made with you, for maximally 20 hours/week.
We deal with length of the cooperation individually, usually for at least 6 months or more.
If you decide to stay on full time after your internship, we will help you to find a suitable position. Almost every second student who has tried to be a part of TietoEVRY do it like that

Never mind. Send us your CV or LinkedIn profile. We look on your experience, knowledge and skills – there is no shame in not knowing. We will teach you all the necessary or may offer you different position.
Most teams provide this benefit. You will not be allowed to work from home office right in the first week probably – you need to work within the team firstly. It depends the most on the team you are joining and on agreement with your manager, do not be afraid to ask in the interview.
Part-time agreement allows you to work maximally 20 hours per week, but it is up to you, how you plan your time. Whether you work on maximum one week or you have time off the whole week, it is your decision which depends on the agreement with your team and manager. In teams where there are shifts, you will arrange the shifts in advance according to how it works best for you
Firstly, you announce yourself at the reception and explain who you are going to visit (remember the name of a person you communicated in email with). You will get visitor card with your name and visit purpose. In the interview, you will meet other students who also apply for position and we will have possibility to meet each other and to verify your communication skills, individual and team work skills. After you introduce yourself in English and tell us information about you, you will get an individual task to think and enough time to work on it. We will also play some group games and it will be fun from the very beginning. After this, you will receive individual feedback from us and information about the next steps. An interview with concrete team manager may follow. Interview questions can relate to your previous experience, school, time flexibility etc.
In your first week, you go through the so-called induction days – you will undergo training with other newcomers, and you will learn about functioning of TietoEVRY. If your position is technical, you will have also technical training. Do not worry, you will get a tutor, who will help you. You can also ask for help the student community.
Besides hourly wage arranged in the agreement, you will also get meal voucher (one 100 CZK meal voucher for 4 worked hours). You can attend TietoEVRY events or various trainings, workshops and seminars. You have free entrance to TietoEVRY fitness centre as well.
You can move in terms of a team and get more interesting and more complex tasks and more responsibility, or you can move to another team to completely different position. Of course, career opportunities are much wider in full time positions.
Sure! If you and your team agree on the cooperation, full time is a clear choice. Many teams accept trainees with the direct aim to make them full time employees later. More than half (even 70% in Brno) of trainees stay in TietoEVRY.
It is same as for home office, it is necessary to understand the work and manage to work independently. But the final decision is up to your manager, so ask.
